Location: Tucson, Arizona, USA
Politics: “Small-L” libertarian. My basic principle is “leave me alone, and I’ll leave you alone”. Somehow, this annoys people on both the Left and Right. Go figure.
Brief Biography: I’ve been described by my friends as a “former everything” — I’m a former soldier (M1A1 Tank Crewman, US Army), former EMS dispatcher, former bookseller, and former anti-junk-email guy (helped maintain a database of spammers that 40% of the known mail servers on the internet queried).
After getting out of the military (honorable discharge due to medical reasons — the bones in my foot went snap-crackle-pop making me combat ineffective. After some Fun Happy Surgery, I’m back on my feet and causing trouble again.), I decided that getting a college degree would be a smart thing to do. I’m now attending the University of Arizona where I’m working on a bachelors degree in physics. Whether or not I’ll go for a Ph.D. after I graduate is currently up in the air.
In short, I’m everything that a Jury Commissioner hates. Still, they keep summoning me to Jury Duty more than anyone else I know!
